Swisslog Healthcare Gift Supports Correctional Health Care

The NCCHC Foundation has received a generous gift from Swisslog Healthcare, making the medication management and automation systems company a Bronze Partner in the foundation’s Partners in Correctional Health Annual Giving Society.

Founded in 2020, the NCCHC Foundation is the philanthropic and charitable arm of the National  Commission on Correctional Health Care, the only national organization dedicated to improving the quality of health care and mental health care in the nation’s jails, prisons, and juvenile confinement facilities.

Swisslog Healthcare’s financial support will contribute to the mission of the NCCHC Foundation: to champion the correctional health care field and serve the public by supporting research, professional education, scholarships, and patient reentry into the community.

Annual gifts like Swisslog Healthcare’s ensure an ongoing foundation of support to help move the correctional health care field forward. “We are deeply grateful to Swisslog Healthcare for their partnership,” said Jennifer Riskind, NCCHC Foundation director. “Their trust in the NCCHC Foundation helps demonstrate the importance of corporate leadership while supporting our mission.”

A leading provider of in-facility packaging and dispensing systems, Swisslog Healthcare offers medication automation solutions to correctional facilities, enabling them to simplify medication administration, provide accountability, reduce waste, and decrease avoidable drug spend.

“Swisslog Healthcare is excited to partner with the NCCHC Foundation to support their mission to champion the correctional health care field as it aligns with our mission to lead change for better care,” said Mike Carmody, vice president, of long-term care.
