Home NCCHC Foundation Welcomes New Manager
Julie Haugland is the new fundraising manager of the NCCHC Foundation, bringing to the role more than 25 years of nonprofit expertise and engagement in philanthropy and fundraising. She is a well-rounded professional manager whose diverse range of experience includes conference and event planning, strategic planning, governance and research, marketing and sales, media relations, fund accounting, member services, and relationship building.
In her most recent position, Julie wore many hats as office manager, township accountant, and General Assistance office administrator for an Illinois township. She handled client intakes and referrals, served as caseworker, and provided compassionate counseling in a state-mandated welfare program. In that role, Julie provided one-on-one support to many people who were returning home from incarceration, so the mission of the foundation is a passion of hers.
She looks forward to developing a thriving fundraising program for the NCCHC Foundation and strengthening its mission – to champion the correctional health care field and serve the public by supporting research, professional education, scholarships, and patient reentry.
Julie looks forward to meeting you at the Spring Conference on Correctional Health Care, April 27-30, in St. Louis.
