Free NCCHC Sessions at AJA 2024 Conference

Help your custody colleagues understand the requirements for correctional health care and the benefits to staff and incarcerated of a a well-run, safe, accredited health care program.

NCCHC will offer three free sessions on May 18 as part of Partnership Saturday from 8:30 am – 12 pm.  Sessions include:

  • Accreditation: Setting Standards for Medical and Mental Health Care in American Jails
  • Interdisciplinary Leadership and Collaboration: Improving Jail Operations and Reducing Adverse Medical Events
  • Jail Command Symposium: Custody, Medical, and Mental Health – Emerging Issues

These three sessions provide 3 CE hours for CCHP recertification.

Register for Partnership Saturday when you register for the AJA Conference.

PLUS, NCCHC will offer the CCHP Exam from 1:15 pm – 3:15 pm. Conference registration is not required. There is no charge to take the exam, but you must apply by April 25.  Find out more about becoming a Certified Correctional Health Professional at:
