Best First Quarter for CCHPs in Six Years

Certified Correctional Health Professional status was attained by 87 individuals in the first quarter of 2023, representing the best first quarter since 2017. Specialty certification was earned by six mental health professionals (CCHP-MH), one physician (CCHP-P), and five registered nurses (CCHP-RN).

With the transition of the CCHP-P program to CCHP-CP (clinical providers), this will be the last CCHP-P awarded. Physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates are encouraged to earn specialty certification as a CCHP-CP.

The CCHP board of trustees congratulates them all. The certifications were effective April 1, 2023.
