JCHC Editor Pens Letter in Support of NCCHC Standards and Accreditation



John R. Miles, MPA, editor of the Journal of Correctional Health Care, argues for accreditation and health care standards in his Editor’s Letter published in the latest issue of JCHC.

“The demands on correctional care are enormous and require increases in both staff and resources to meet the need. Accreditation and standards of care have provided the means to implement ongoing quality assurance practices to ensure the highest standards of health care quality while addressing these increasing demands,” he writes.
