Continuing Education Webinar on Mental Health and Segregation



This webinar will review the various forms of segregated housing, the current use (and overuse) of segregated housing nationally, and the short- and long-term risks patients face when placed in segregation. It also will focus on how correctional health care administrators and providers can improve outcomes, effectively advocate for patients in segregation and work with correctional departments to decrease the use of segregation.

Presented by Joel Andrade, PhD, LICSW, CCHP-MH, director of clinical operations for MHM Services, Inc., the webinar offers 1 hour of continuing education credit (ACCME, ANCC, APA, CCHP). May 31, 2018, from 1 pm to 2 pm CDT.
