BOP Medical Director to Deliver Keynote Address

RADM Newton E. Kendig, MD, assistant director/medical director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, will speak on “Correctional Health Care: Where We Have Been and Where We Need to Go” in his keynote address at the National Conference on Correctional Health Care. 

Dr. Kendig, one of the nation’s leading authorities on correctional health care, will share his unique perspective on the evolution of the field based on his 25 years of experience as medical director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the State of Maryland.

The National Conference will be held October 17-21 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX. The keynote address will take place during the opening ceremony on Monday, Oct. 19, at 8 a.m. The ceremony will also feature the presentation of the most prestigious awards in correctional health care. Learn more and register online »
