Companies Soliciting Housing
for National Conference
Several conference registrants and exhibitors have received
telephone solicitation calls from a company identified as Global
Housing and offering alternative rates at the Rio Hotel for the
National Conference on Correctional Health Care.
NCCHC has not authorized any outside company to
provide housing for our meeting.
As always, NCCHC has secured a housing block
providing convenient and discounted room rates for conference
participants. Please book directly with the Rio Hotel for guaranteed
reservations. Booking outside the block exposes host organizations
like NCCHC to financial penalties arising from hotel attrition
clauses. Our conference hotels also underwrite important elements of
our meetings. We think you will agree that they deserve our full
support.
NCCHC will address this conduct directly with
Global Housing and any other unauthorized company attempting to
solicit our attendees and exhibitors. We apologize for any confusion
their actions may have caused.
