Networking Adventures

The National Conference has always provided an environment for making valuable professional contacts and this year is no exception. In Baltimore you’ll have many opportunities for personal networking and knowledge sharing. These activities will enhance the meeting’s value and enable you to return to your organization with a wider base of peer support.

Longer Sessions

To provide more in-depth education on selected subjects, three of the concurrent sessions will run longer than the usual 60 minutes. Check the schedule for presentations during the following sessions:

• Concurrent Session 2:  Monday, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

• Concurrent Session 3:  Monday, 3:45 pm to 5 pm

• Concurrent Session 10: Wednesday, 9:15 am to 10:30 am

Educational Poster Display

Back by popular demand! Poster presenters are being invited to moderate a roundtable discussion and also will be featured in the exhibit hall. Meet one-on-one with the poster authors to discuss their findings during the Sunday evening opening reception. Open for viewing during all exhibit hall hours, poster topics address a broad spectrum of correctional health issues, such as program innovations, research findings and case studies.

Roundtable Discussions

Roundtables are not instructional in nature; rather, they are discussions on hot topics and emerging trends. Open to all attendees, these special gatherings are the best time to interact, debate issues, seek advice and express your opinions.
